Thursday 11th December 2014

Hello everyone, Omicron here! The girls have asked me to choose a stocking filler for everyday up until the last posting day (as if I don’t have enough Christmas preparation to do!!) For the first idea, I have chosen these little terracotta bulls… bad idea! They wouldn’t stop leaping about, one even got into my little owl sized stocking!! mini terracotta bulls

Hello everyone! Me again! Today I learnt that the 12th  of December celebrates St. Spyridon, who was apparently the patron saint of pots! i.e. fire, water and clay : a metaphor for the Holy Trinity. As soon as he finished speaking, the sherd burst into flame (voila!).

This is why I chose these little lekythoi for today’s stocking filler. I hope you like them! I even got out my own paintbrush to join the lady vase painters, although I don’t think I’m quite as good as they are yet! Love, Omicron x

Hello everyone! For today’s stocking filler I have chosen these ibex (they look like Reindeer!). I thought, as everyone seems so busy rushing about before Christmas, I would pick the ibex as I have learnt they represent stamina and energy. Trouble is, they are always hungry and keep eating the decorations! Love, Omicron x

Hello everyone! For today’s stocking filler, I have chosen these baby octopus pots! Aren’t they sweet! I’ve found out that they are mini versions of a big vase called a ‘stirrup jar’ from Crete. I hope you like them! Love, Omicron x

Hello everyone! For today’s stocking filler, I have chosen these terracotta goats. They are so mischievous, keeping them still for the photograph was really difficult, as you can see they nearly knocked me over! But I had to include them as they are so much fun to have around my shop! Love, Omicron x
